Patine Gallery was created by Pierre G, a French citizen with a vested interest for decorative art and different work experiences on its market.

This website aims to share my passion and own perspective on the art world through different articles focusing on emerging and established movements or artists I do find interesting to write about. The topics I explore are diverse, ranging from classical art and antiquities to contemporary art and luxury objects.

The content and information I share on this website stem from what I observe and learn during the exhibitions and art fairs I explore, books I read, art classes I attend, galleries and auction houses I visit and so on. I am aware that art is an infinity vast and rich field so I will not pretend to know deep down all the aspects of the subjects I write about, I just select and focus on the elements I find the most interesting to share.
